Welcome to Kent Farm Care Home

Kent Farm offers person centred care in our comfortable, modern accommodation.  All rooms have ceiling tracking to enable hoists to be used when required and some rooms have profiling beds.   We have extensive pressure relieving equipment along with two stand aids to assist mobility.

Alongside our single rooms we have a large fully adapted double ground floor room with adjoining wet room which may accommodate a couple if required.

We also have a fully adapted respite room with full wet room, ceiling hoist and profiling bed for people with a range of disabilities who may wish to visit Kent Farm for short periods.

Our main communal lounge is homely and spacious with recliner chairs to meet individual needs, large screen TV, DVD and radio/CD and ramp access located at the side of the lounge for safe access to other rooms.  Our group activities, yoga, regular exercise regime, church services, entertainment sessions are all held in our communal lounge.

Our ‘quiet room’, situated on the ground floor, provides a private room to enhance privacy for our clients. This room is available for use by relatives, friends, professional visitors ie. doctor and nurses and is used for our twice weekly massage sessions.

Every encouragement is given to residents to maintain their normal level of independence.  For those requiring assistance with daily living, we offer the very highest quality of individual care.  The manager and senior carers, personally supervises a 24-hour team of care staff and management ensuring a professional approach towards meeting individuals care needs.

Registered as service type CHS  – Care Home without nursing and accommodates up to 17 residents.  We are able to offer services to people in the following bands:-

•  older people
•  physical disability
•  sensory disability
•  mental health
•  dementia

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

There is now a new CQC inspection and rating process.  Our latest rating is highlighted below and we are actively working to strengthen the areas identified within our latest CQC report which can be read by clicking the link.
